In Japanese, as in English, the word 'pine' (松 or 待つ) can have two meanings: the ubiquitous pine tree, or to long for a beloved. It’s deeply symbolic and a symbol of good fortune in Japan, often featuring on gifts presented at New Year, a wish of luck for the days to come.

-A binchotan charcoal eye mask. Made in Wakayama, Japan, this sumptuous eye mask is lined with binchotan-infused cotton, to help mitigate the appearance of puffiness and eye bags. Binchotan is a premium activated charcoal that has been revered in Japan for centuries, due to its natural purifying and detoxifying properties. The body is made from softly padded silky satin with adjustable straps for a perfect fit. Great for relaxation, meditation, airplane travel and restful sleep.
