Sumo Furoshiki

Furoshiki, square-shaped cloths, are traditionally used in Japan to carry everyday items such as bento boxes and groceries. They are also used to wrap special gifts in a way that is reusable, environmentally friendly and good looking.

The tradition of wrapping in furoshiki was first popularised during the Edo period, and there is a huge variety of methods you can use depending on what you need to wrap.
