Kimono Gift Set: Momijigari

-An original vintage Japanese kimono in a lightweight cotton fabric and lined. Featuring a very 70s landscape of woven trees; ‘momijigari’ refers to the custom of ‘leaf hunting’, seeking out the spectacular colours of the trees in Autumn. Long and flowing with an amazing vibrant yellow, white and purple ombre lining.

-A vintage obijime belt, woven in coordinating colours.

-A binchotan charcoal eye mask. Made in Wakayama, Japan, this sumptuous eye mask is lined with binchotan-infused cotton, to help mitigate the appearance of puffiness and eye bags. Binchotan is a premium activated charcoal that has been revered in Japan for centuries, due to its natural purifying and detoxifying properties. The body is made from softly padded silky satin with adjustable straps for a perfect fit. Great for relaxation, meditation, airplane travel and restful sleep.

Kimonos are usually rather formal-wear but you can treat this piece as the most luxurious loungewear: a ‘komon’ or everyday kimono, or ‘nemaki’ aka sleepwear.
