A world away from today’s ‘Prenzlauer Berg Mütter’ (‘yummy mummies’) and ‘hipster’ (‘hipster’) Neukölln nightclubs, 1992 Berlin was still reimagining life following the fall of the Wall. Photographer Colin McPherson was there to explore this curious and unprecedented period in Berlin’s history, documenting the human impact on the environment.
