The cover is Japanese hand-crafted washi paper, hand-dyed with this classic yuzen or chiyogami pattern. Each notebook has a cover cut from a sheet of hand printed paper, making each one-of-a-kind.
Hardback, with interior pages in plain white Japanese houshoshi paper bound in an ‘orihon’ concertina fashion.
Houshoshi paper has historically been used for Japanese printmaking and souvenir seal books, making this a great companion for writing, jotting and painting alike.
