A wooden notepad made by hand-shaving individual wafer-thin sheets of paper from a single block of Japanese Red Pine. These sheets are traditionally used to wrap food but have been reimagined as beautiful notepads for the creative mind. Experience the aesthetic and tactile pleasure of writing and drawing directly onto woodgrain.
Each block of pine is sourced through surplus tree thinning, an ecological process that promotes healthy, sustainable forestry in Japan.
Measures approx. 15 x 10cm. Each pad contains approximately 50 sheets.
