Chef's Gift Set

A limited edition wooden gift box, featuring a pick of seasonal finds. This collection is tailored for cooks (the full gamut from culinary artist to chef to Chief Plate Washer) and includes:

-A tea towel cut from soft stonewashed French linen and featuring a vintage floral print.

-A cherry wood hand carved spatula. It’s perfectly angular to get into the bottom of pan corners, with knife impressions showing the mark of the maker’s hand.

-A pair of Japanese ceramic pinch pots. Fill with spices, salt, seeds chillies, salt…they’ll look good both in the kitchen and on the table.

-A grow-your-own Shiso (Japanese basil) kit. The growing kit includes potting mix, seeds and instructions. Start to grow inside the bag and once established, the plant can be easily transplanted to larger pots or to the garden. The Japanese use these fragrant, iron-rich leaves as a garnish for cold noodle and tofu dishes when young, and when mature to wrap onigiri (rice balls), fried in tempura batter as a crispy side dish or even as a pizza topping.
