Okra Chubachi Dish

A chubachi 中鉢, literally a ‘medium bowl’, is a core part of a Japanese table setting. Use for serving rice, soup, donburi and desserts. Alternatively, pair it with Okra Ohitashi, a classic Japanese salad marinated with dashi, soy sauce and mirin.

These bowls have been painted in the sometsuke technique near Mino, Japan.
