There's an expression in Japanese, "The Sake-Master has the softest hands". Turns out there's about 100 skin-nurturing vitamins, minerals and amino acids in the fermented rice which becomes sake, and so sake brewers tend to have beautifully soft skin.
Our sake-based soap comes from the award-winning Tonoike sake brewery in Mashiko, Japan, who use organically-grown rice and fresh soft water from the Nikko Mountains. The soap's ingredients derived from sake naturally care for the skin; it's gentle enough to be used for hands, face or body.
Free of synthetic fragrances, pigments, mineral oils, or parabens.
