A placemat with kasuri fabric woven in Kyushu, Japan. The classic red and white Igeta pattern represents a well and symbolises life and good fortune in Japan.
The piece resembles a vintage zokin cloth, woven with little stitches. With a herringbone fabric reverse.
Measures approx. 43 x 30cm.
