A very special pair of earrings, crafted in sterling silver by the last remaining traditional silversmiths in Bethlehem, Palestine, operating from a small studio in the centre of the old town.
Each earring is individually moulded and cast from an actual olive leaf, handpicked during the trimming season from the hills around Bethlehem and Jerusalem, from olive trees dating back over 2000 years.
The casting technique preserves the individual grain of the leaf, meaning each piece is an exact replica and as unique as the leaf from which it was cast.
