This is original Dot moquette from the E6 Komachi Shinkansen bullet train, a select service which runs between Tokyo and Akita along the east coast of Japan.

These slippers are made in Japan from reclaimed Dot upholstery: upcycled, professionally cleaned and naturally limited in number.

They’re sewn for Foundland in the famous Japanese slipper-making town of Kahoku by a workshop with 70 years of heritage.
