This is original Globe moquette from the E2 Hayate-1000 Shinkansen bullet train, a select service which runs through Japan’s Tōhoku region.

These slippers are made in Japan from reclaimed Globe upholstery: upcycled, professionally cleaned and naturally limited in number.

They’re sewn for Foundland in the famous Japanese slipper-making town of Kahoku by a workshop with 70 years of heritage.
