Kome-no-Megumi Candle Set
These warosuku (Japanese candles) have been made for us by hand in the Takazawa atelier in Japan, using traditional methods. The wick, made by wrapping a dried reed around a washi paper cylinder, gives the candle a tall intense flame and generates minimal soot and smoke.
Kome-no-Megumi means the blessing of rice, and these candles have been made with rice bran wax.
Contains 20 pieces, each approx. 7 cm tall and with a burn time of 30 minutes. The light may give you the time to enjoy a cup of coffee, or listen to some of your favourite music. A kind of timer, but one where you never feel rushed.
