Shuro Pot Stand
£40
When we first spotted this pot stand in Japan we knew that we were on to something special.
Embodying the Japanese aesthetic of form following function, it’s made by the hands of the master craftsmen at the Takada Tawashi atelier in Japan. They’re the experts: the workshop has been crafting trivets, brushes and brooms in their Wakayama workshop for over 70 years, techniques passed down generation to generation.
Skillfully hand woven from shuro, aka soft woven palm fibres, a pot stand is a beautiful way to protect tabletops and surfaces from hot pans.
Measures approx. 18cm across.
Gift wrapped in tissue paper
