Gamaguchi Coin Purse: Sashiko
This denim purse has been crafted by Setto in Japan.
Setto was founded in 2014 in Kojima District - otherwise known as Japan’s denim capital. The brand has become known for its clean lines and monozukuri (aka manufacturing prowess) and has acquired a cult following amongst denim aficionados. Heritage techniques are expertly applied to contemporary cuts and hardware detailing.
Constructed from jacquard woven cotton to emulate Sashiko stitching. ‘Gamaguchi’ (‘gama’ meaning ‘frog’ and ‘guchi’ meaning ‘mouth’) is the traditional design of Japanese coin purses.
