Introducing HA KO by Kunjudo, a new type of incense made from paper. Founded on Awaji Island, Japan, Kunjudo have been crafting incense for more than 120 years. Their leaf-shaped incense papers are infused with natural fragrances: Starling, Zelkova and Oyster leaves with aromas of jasmine, agar wood, sandalwood, citrus and smoky cinnamon.

Place a leaf next to an entrance, in a drawer or by your bedside to enjoy the subtle scent; burn the paper like incense for a deeper aroma.

For a lovely touch, pop one of these scented paper leaves inside the envelope when you send a special card or letter.

This luxury set comes with five individual Kunjudo incense papers, as well as a felt mat for burning, all presented within a wooden gift box. You’ll need just an inflammable plate on which to burn the papers.

After lighting, blow out the flame and place the smouldering leaf on the felt mat included and then a non-flammable surface (such a ceramic dish) to burn safely.
