A set of three cooking pastes from Japan, to add some authentic flavour to your Asian cooking. Contains one pack each of:

Yuzu kosho paste. Made from yuzu citrus, spicy hot green chilli peppers and salt. Mix with soy sauce to create a rich and flavoursome dip. Serve with skewers or sushi, or add a tablespoon to udon, ramen, hot pots or soup to add a hot and citrusy kick.

Shiso perilla leaf paste. Aka Japanese basil, it adds a refreshing, aromatic flavour to noodles, pasta, pizza, yakitori, meat dishes and shabu shabu.

Plum paste. This rich paste is both tart and tangy, made from ume plums pickled with salt. It’s an easy way to add one of Japan's most loved flavours to any dish, be it sushi, tofu, noodles or rice. Small pieces add a sharp zest to sushi, and you can use it to brighten up grilled vegetables.

Ingredients and allergens:

Shiso perilla leaf paste: Salt, Perilla Leaf Paste, Starch, Processed Perilla Leaf, Sorbitol, Thickeners (Processed Starch, Xanthan Gum), Cellulose, Alcohol, Acidulants, Seasonings (Amino Acid, Monosodium Glutamate), Flavourings, Colourings (Gardenia, Caramel), Spice Extracts.

Yuzu kosho paste: Yuzu Citrus Peel, Green Chilli Pepper, Salt, Water, Sorbitol, Processed Starch, Sake (rice wine), Natural and Artificial Flavourings, Citric Acid, Xanthan Gum, Colourings (FD&C Blue#1).

Plum paste: Plum, Salt, Polysaccharide Thickener.

Presented in a kraft paper bag.
