These beautiful ceramic bowls are handmade. The unusual firing in a wood kiln gives the bowl its earthy, scorched colour and tactile, raw-grained surface.

This paired-back modern-rustic-vibe speaks to us of British Country Kitchen style, Shaker, Utilitarian and Japanese influences. The functionality is also integral, shaped like a large ladle this piece works for both food prep and to serve sauces at the table.

Each piece when it comes out of the kiln has subtle differences in flashing, light ash deposits and glaze, all dependent on how the flame has passed by and between the work.

Measures approx. 22cm across including handle. Designed to be used daily, the bowl is dishwasher safe but to keep it at its best we recommended that you hand-wash after use.
