Snow of Ohara Writing Ink
£20
This ink is redolent of its namesake, the rural town of Ohara tucked away in Kyoto’s circumambient hills. This glossy, violet-indigo ink invokes a snow-covered landscape at night, and is a pleasure to use.
Tag Stationery is based in Muromachi, Kyoto, where artisan craft and dyeing culture remains strong. Produced using natural pigments, their series of writing inks reinterprets traditional Japanese colours popularised in the enlightened Heian period.
40ml. Suitable for fountain pens and and also dip-pen calligraphy.
Gift wrapped in tissue paper
