Tenugui are rectangular Japanese cloths that can be used as washcloths, towels, headgear, or for wrapping gifts and lunchboxes. They are made of 100% cotton and may be tied in a variety of fashions depending on what you want to wrap.

This tenugui features a little shiba inu standing, sitting and looking cute.

Measures approx. 44 by 34cm.

The long sides are finished with a selvedge edge whilst the short sides are cut to intentionally fray over time and with washing. This is a traditional technique and helps the tenugui to dry quickly.
