Japanese Selvedge Denim Workwear Jacket
Constructed from 12oz indigo selvedge denim in Kojima, Japan’s denim capital.
Designed in the style of a traditional Japanese chore jacket, this unisex jacket is loose fitting for movement, with a kimono collar, deep double lined pockets and loose sleeves, designed to be rolled up. Equally handy at the top of your garden ladder as when picking your way through the back streets of Kyoto.
An alternative to an apron for around the house and garden, it’s designed to be hearwearing, practical and comfortable. This haori style can also be worn dressed up, layered as outerwear, making it adaptable for all seasons.
Limited edition run. Comes presented in its own matching denim tote and ages, like some of us don't, gracefully.
Size medium: chest laid flat 56.5cm wide, length 77cm, sleeve length 59cm shoulder to cuff.
This denim is dyed using indigo. You know the rules: wash rarely, cool, minimal soap, inside-out and with similar colours. Don’t wear white for a while, in case the colour transfers.
Presented in a Japanese paper rice bag.
