Large Kinari Sheep Figurine
Kawaii! We fell in love with these ‘hitsuji’ or ‘sheep’ the second we saw them.
They’re made in Japan by the designer Kyoko Toji. Inspired by antique wooden dolls, each figurine is made with the intricate attention to detail you would expect from Japanese craft. Kyoko makes every piece individually by hand: she hand-carves the wooden body, winds the wool, paints the face. Each sheep even sleeps in their own little gift box.
With her ‘kinari’ (aka ‘unbleached’) wool, this lady ressembles a prized Merino sheep. Baaaaaaa!
Measures approx. 4cm tall.
Presented in a gift box and cotton pouch.
