A set of six celebration candles in the shape of the the character 福, meaning ‘fortune’. Pop atop a celebration cake and turn up Kim Wan-Sun on the stereo: let’s get this janchi (party) started!

The character 福 accompanies Koreans throughout their lives. When babies are born, Koreans often embroider 福 on their bedding, wishing for a blessed future. They engrave 福 on rice bowls, to reflect on their blessings at mealtimes. And it’s common to wear clothes and accessories with patterns that represent 福.
