Mini Bokashi Indigo Notebook
Created by Awagami, this hand-stitched notebook features a textured indigo paper cover that has been crinkled and slowly dyed to create its ‘bokashi’ pattern.
Awagami’s home of Tokushima is the birthplace of Japanese indigo where farmers have been cultivating it for centuries. The humble beauty of indigo was revived during the Japanese folk-crafts or Mingei movement and, alongside its famous washi paper, the mill proudly carries on its forefathers’ indigo tradition.
Inside you will find approx. 25 warm white washi pages suitable for writing, drawing, collage, stamping and scrapbooking. Each book is unique and can be used either right-to-left or flipped left-to-right.
Measures approx. 11cm across.
Gift wrapped in tissue paper.
