Tora, or 'Tiger', is a beloved cat who wanders in and out of a pottery studio in Mino, Japan, and became the decorative subject of these plates.
They’re mamezara sized, literally a ‘bean plate’, a key part of everyday dining in Japan. Use for soy sauce, pickles, garnishes, condiments, grated ginger and wasabi or as a chopstick rest.
Measures approx. 10cm wide.
