A chubachi 中鉢, literally a ‘medium bowl’, is a core part of a Japanese table setting. Use for serving rice, soup, donburi, salads and desserts. Alternatively, pair it with Kinpira Renkon, a classic Japanese lotus root stir-fry side dish seasoned with soy sauce, mirin, sake and sesame.
These bowls have been painted in the sometsuke technique near Mino, Japan.
Measures approx. 14cm across. Dishwasher safe but for longevity hand wash.
