Nurebairo Writing Ink
£20
Tag Stationery is based in Muromachi, Kyoto, where artisan craft and dyeing culture remains strong. Their series of writing inks reproduces traditional Japanese colours used in the Heian period with modern techniques and interpretations.
‘Nurebairo’ translates as ‘jet black’. Made in small batches, this glossy black ink is inspired by raven-coloured hair.
These beautiful water-based inks are a pleasure to write with as well as an expression of a rich ancient history.
40ml. Suitable for fountain pens and and also dip-pen calligraphy.
Gift wrapped in tissue paper
