Tamanori Sheep Figurine
Kawaii! We fell in love with these ‘hitsuji’ or ‘sheep’ the second we saw them. Tamanori sheep is ready to paaarty: ‘tamanori’ is the Japanese for ‘balancing on a ball’.
Inspired by antique wooden dolls, each figurine is made with the intricate attention to detail you would expect from Japanese craft. Designer Kyoko Toji makes every piece individually by hand: hand-carving the wooden body, winding the caramel wool, painting the face, modelling the clay and Japanese-paper ball. Each sheep even sleeps in their own little gift box. Absolutely adorable!
Measures approx. 6cm tall.
Presented in a gift box and cotton pouch.
